Who Is Prince Yadav?
Uttar Pradesh born in 2001, Prince Yadav made his mark in the 2024 Delhi Premier League (DPL), in which he raised quite a stir. He became the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament and set a milestone for himself—becoming the first bowler to hit a hat-trick. Playing for Old Delhi 6, he took 13 wickets in 10 games overall, with his hat-trick against Central Delhi Kings.
Yadav’s dominance was not limited to the DPL. He also dominated the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he topped the wicket list for Delhi, taking 11 wickets at 22. Lucknow Super Giants spent 30 lakhs of base price to acquire him in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He played for LSG in their first match against Delhi Capitals in the IPL, where he justified his worth in the big league.
