IPL 2025: RCB In Trouble! Star Bowler’s Uncertainty Before Playoffs Increases Concerns For Rajat Patidar’s Red Army

There is a lot of simmering discontent in the ranks of the RCB even before the schedule is released.

The dates of the remaining matches of IPL 2025 are to be announced soon by the BCCI. There is a lot of simmering discontent in the ranks of the RCB even before the schedule is released. It might be difficult for Hazlewood, who is the season’s best performer with RCB, to play the remaining games due to his shoulder injury. An injury to his shoulder has kept Hazlewood away from India to play in the forthcoming games. Currently, Hazlewood is third in the most wickets taken by any bowler this season. Hazlewood has taken 18 wickets.

RCB got a big blow

It has created an IPL 2025 one-week break because of the India-Pakistan diplomatic complications. However, BCCI has disclosed that they will release the change in plan for the remaining matches shortly. According to news reports, the tournament might be back to life by May 16, while the final is set for May 30. As much as RCB was able to have a strong shape before the new schedule, a major blow has found its way to the team. With his current shoulder injury, it doesn’t seem probable that fast bowler Josh Hazlewood, who leads this season’s wickets for India, would be able to play the rest of the games. ESPN Cricinfo said that Hazlewood’s shoulder injury could rule him out of travelling to India to participate in the tournament.

Cricket Australia does not care about Josh Hazlewood’s health

Even with the newest matter at hand, an ESPNcricinfo report indicated that Cricket Australia (CA) is no longer worried about Hazlewood’s condition. Hazlewood is set to attend a pre-match camp in England a few days before the England-Australia ICC World Test Championship final is to be played. As IPL 2025 is just around the corner, the Indian cricket board is going to have its hands full trying to get Australian and South African players to play in the tournament. Lead Australian players, including Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Travis Head, have not confirmed their definite plans to play the rest of the season in India.
