The Rajasthan Royals declared that Vikram Rathour, a former batting coach for India, has been appointed as their new batting coach. After he took up the responsibility to help the national team win the Men’s T20 World Cup in June, his decision to accept the assignment resulted in his return to Rahul Dravid’s squad.
In 2019–24, Vikram Rathour signed on as a batting coach after having played for India and represented the nation in six Tests and seven ODIs. During his time, he collaborated extensively with batters such as Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and KL Rahul, who were promoted to different positions in the national team.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the Royals family. The opportunity to work again with Rahul, and now with a talented group of young cricketers, is hugely exciting. I look forward to contributing to the team’s vision and working toward our goal of developing top-class players for the Royals and for India which can help in winning championships,” said Rathour in a statement issued by the franchise.
