The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction is being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia wherein more than 500 players are all set to go under the hammer during the bidding event. The IPL is currently one of the biggest cricket T20 leagues in the world wherein many big names from all over the world come to India and entertain the fans. The major factor which makes the Indian Premier League among the biggest in the world is the amount of money it gives to the players, also, rarely any international cricket is scheduled during the window when the Indian Premier League is played. Apart from these players, others such as Jos Buttler, Mohammed Shami, KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj attracted big amount of money. At one end, Buttler was sold to the Gujarat Titans for INR 15.75 crores, whereas Mitchell Starc was picked up in a steal by Delhi Capitals for INR 11.75 crores. Shami went to the Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 10 crores meanwhile, KL Rahul got picked up by the Delhi Capitals for a price of INR 14 crores.
