A massive disaster was avoided by inches when fire broke out in Park Hyatt Hotel at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The offical team hotel of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Fire broke out early morning on April 14 around 9 AM, scaring hotel staff and visitors
The fire reportedly started on the first floor of the hotel, causing dense smoke and panic in that area. Luckily, the fire department responded promptly and was able to contain the blaze. All the guests, including hotel staff members, were evacuated without sustaining any injury.

Fortunately, the SRH players and staff had already left the hotel before the fire occurred. Confirming the same, Hyderabad District Fire Officer stated, “The Sunrisers Hyderabad team had checked out as per their scheduled departure. All the players are safe and were witnessed leaving in the team bus.”
While the cause of the fire is yet to be officially established, initial estimates suggest that it might have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
