Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad reinforced these fears by explaining that CSK lost the match because of inadequate fielding alongside a poor batting performance during the powerplay period.

The captain stressed how RR’s exceptional fielding skills stood out through Parag’s breathtaking catch which eliminated Dube from the match. Only one or two stops in the infield became the only exceptional fielding moments for CSK players except for those. The RR displayed true commitment to fielding which proves fielding excellence comes from anticipating and being aware instead of having young players only on the team, according to his statement.
