Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President Jagan Mohan Rao has recently engaged in threatening behavior which is coupled with blackmailing activities against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise. Mohan Rao has stated that the HCA should receive 10% of the tickets totaling 3,900 and when added to their current share it would result in an allocation of 20% of all tickets according to inside sources. SRH responded to this demand by rejecting it because they believe the fans should not lose ticket access and a black market could be created.

The Escalation to Corporate Box Incident
The relationship between SRH and Sanjiv Goenka reached boiling point when Mohan Rao secured a corporate box which the key SRH figure was planned to use for a game. Additional game tickets were delivered to the match by SRH in order to prevent hostility from escalating further. The act of flexibility between the two parties failed to provide a permanent solution to the conflict. The cricket authorities of India became aware of the situation when SRH filed their formal complaint regarding the HCA President’s inappropriate actions.
SRH Takes a Stand
The organization SRH displays professional attitudes by declaring that it will strictly refuse to accept pressure from such improper tactics. The franchise stands firm to defend fair ticket policies because these standards protect fans from losing their scheduled game attendance. This situation exposed the HCA’s internal political factors and brought attention to the controlling forces that influence cricket on a local level. As the situation develops BCCI involvement will become crucial for resolving the increasing disagreement between the parties involved.
