The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction held in Jeddah was a huge success. Over 600 crores money was spent by the ten teams for roping in their favourite players and making a strong squad. Players including Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged huge prices whereas many shockers appeared when big names including David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane and many more went unsold.

Mumbai Indians who retained their core players ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction mostly focused to strengthen their bowling lineup.
