In 2 seasons of KKR, the black and gold jersey was worn by the players of KKR but it is said that the fortune didn’t favour the Knights and that was seen by their performance as they had a torrid season in their initial first-two years. Things changed from 2010 and from thereon, KKR clinched 3 titles with “Purple-Gold” jersey.
RCB’s Nightmare
KKR’s rival Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) would be remembering this jersey and might have the wounds of 2008 IPL, where Brendon McCullum smacked RCB bowlers out of the park and slammed an unbeaten 158*.
