The Board of Control Cricket India (BCCI) is considering to move the rest of the IPL 2025 games to the southern part of the country. Earlier, IPL 2025 was suspended for a week amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. The Board is looking towards accurate solutions for better results.
According to The Times Of India reports, the board was also considering hosting the remaining IPL 2025 matches in Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru if the league could be re-started next week.

“A week is a long time when it comes to such matters. The board is chalking out a contingency plan. But the initial feelers are that the BCCI is considering the rest of IPL matches in cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru if the league restarts next week. If things de-escalate at the border, the board might also retain the original venues,” a source told the publication.
