IPL 2025: Ajinkya Rahane Smashes Half Century In The Tournament Opener

He showed his prowess with the bat at the tournament opener with such a magnificent start for himself and his team.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ newly appointed captain, Ajinkya Rahane smashed a spectacular half century in just 25 balls. After the early loss of opener Quinton de Kock, Rahane and Sunil Narine stabilized the innings with their balanced performance. While Rahane was hitting consecutive boundaries, Sunil Narine was playing a slow innings. He showed his prowess with the bat at the tournament opener with such a magnificent start for himself and his team. He was earlier part of the Chennai Super Kings. He was ultimately dismissed by Krunal Pandya on 56 runs.
