As It Happened
LSG started solidly with 8 runs off the first 5 overs, seemingly in control, but the match turned sharply in the next two overs, which went for 40 runs. That sudden onslaught proved to be the turning point. Ravi Bishnoi bore the brunt, getting smashed for four consecutive sixes by an unstoppable Abhishek Sharma, who raced to a blistering 18-ball fifty.
The early fireworks from Abhishek laid the perfect platform, and from there, SRH needed composure to see the chase through. Heinrich Klaasen played the anchor role to perfection, while Ishan Kishan and Kamindu Mendis provided vital contributions during key phases of the innings.
Earlier, LSG had a promising start, reaching 81/0 in 7 overs, but failed to capitalize on the momentum during the middle overs. A late surge in the final over helped push the total to a fighting score, but it ultimately proved insufficient.
SRH chased down the target with calm and control, handing LSG a crushing defeat.

Akash Deep to Atharva Taide, FOUR, very small margin for error. Back of a length and around the hips, Taide tucks it in front of square and once the ball beat the mid-wicket fielder, there was no stopping that

Cummins to Pooran, FOUR, this time Pooran gets under the full delivery, he goes up and over with the drive, clears mid-off comfortably and almost sends it the distance.
Harshal Patel to Markram, out Bowled!! Cleaned up! This too we have seen many times - batters completely foxed by Harshal's slower ball. This was perfectly executed. Markram survived a couple off Malinga but not this time. This was the dipping slower ball, lands close to the yorker length and Markram is through the shot early, the ball sneaks under his bat and hits the base of the stumps. A fine knock comes to an end as he has set it up for the others. Markram b Harshal Patel 61(38) [4s-4 6s-4]
