Mitchell Santner
The current New Zealand skipper, Mitchell Santner is probably the best buy that MI-management has got in this year’s Mega Auction. Santner’s accuracy and spin bowling has been phenomenal in IPL. Santner will play an important role in Mumbai’s conquest. In the first match of MI, Santner might play against it’s old franchise Chennai Super Kings on March 23.
Trent Boult
The T20 specialist bowler, Trent Boult’s buy has been a ‘great steal’ by MI-management in this years Mega Auction. Boult played a pivotal role in MI’s 2020-title win. Boult along with Jasprit Bumrah will form a formidable pace-attack for MI.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman
The replacement for Allah Ghazanfar, Mujeeb Ur Rahman inclusion in the side has been a smart thinking by the MI-management. Both with a bat and ball, Mujeeb would provide lower-order stability which will make the MI playing 11 core strong.
Ryan Rickelton
The Protean batter lit up the Champions Trophy 2025 with a century. Rickelton has been in limelight due to his exploits with the bat. Rickelton’s inclusion in the MI team has been a good one.
