IPL 2024: Former congress leader and renowned commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday made his comeback in the field on commentary in cricket for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
He is all set to commentary for Star Sports in the IPL 2024 which is slated to take place on March 22.

Speaking on the occasion, Sidhu revealed that earlier he used to get a remuneration of Rs 25 Lakh for a single day commentary for a match.
Navjot Singh Sidhu made his mark in the world of commentary following which he joined politics. But now, he again made a comeback in the same field and he is ready to win hearts of the cricket enthusiasts through his voice.
Notably, soon after the IPL 2024, the T20 World Cup will begin in June which will be played in America and West Indies.
He emphasised that the upcoming tournament will set the stage and environment for the world cup which is slated to take place in June this year.
He said that the world’s eyes will be on the IPL 2024 as no other cricket tournament is scheduled to take place during this period. This tournament will not only help Indian players to leave an impression on the World Cup selectors but also the foreign players have a chance to secure a place in the squad in their respective teams.

Talking about the impact of the Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in IPL 2024, he said that both the players are like old wines as they are can play exceptionally well in all formats of cricket.
“Virat Kohli is one of the best players for all the formats of cricket. As Kohli is getting older, he is getting more fit. The same goes with Rohit Sharma as well”, he said.
