Gill Looses Cool in 1st Innings
Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill showed frustration as he hurried towards the on-field umpire following a DRS mistake involving the third umpire. The incident occurred in the 17th over while Mohit Sharma was bowling to Sanju Samson. At first, the on-field umpire deemed the delivery wide as it crossed the tramline.

However, subsequent events led to a controversial situation. Following the on-field umpire’s wide signal, GT decided to challenge the decision with a review. Initially, the third umpire overturned the on-field umpire’s decision, ruling the delivery as ‘not wide.’
After additional scrutiny, the third umpire changed his ruling, advising the on-field umpire to uphold the ‘wide’ decision. This series of actions angered Gill, leading him to engage in heated disputes with the umpires.
