As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is slated for March 22, Delhi Capitals (DC) star player Rishabh Pant on Sunday reportedly have not received fitness clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Dainik Bhaskar reported that Rishabh Pant is yet to receive fitness clearance.
Additionally, the reports suggested that the NCA experts did not fell that Pant isn’t fully fit yet.

“However, the team management claimed that they do not have any knowledge on the subject”, reports added.
Moreover, DC has not included Rishabh Pant in the squad to date and the major reson behind this is not obtaining the certificate from the NCA. The reports also suggested that DC franchise can request BCCI for his inclusion in the team as an extra player in the squad.

Delhi Capitals on the other hand made it clear that Rishabh Pant will remain the team’s captain in the upcoming 17th edition of the IPL and he will feature as the impact player in the squad.
Sourav Ganguly clarified that the Pant will not be able to keep the wickets for the DC.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant is continuously breaking sweat on the field and training hard in the practise games. Pant is keen andworking tirelessly to pass the fitness test so that he can join the squad in the pre-season campaign.
In the first phase, DC is all set to take on the Punjab Kings in their opening game on March 23, in the forthcoming IPL 2024.
