Narine-Salt Dismantle PBKS Bowlers
Put to bat first, KKR openers went beast mode from the get-go as Sunil Narine and Phil Salt stitched up a spectacular 138-run partnership in the beginning which set the stage for the hosts to post yet another mammoth total on the board.
With the score at 163/2 at 12.3 overs, it was the turn of incoming batters Andre Russell and Venkatesh Iyer to take the score past 200 as early as possible.

Skipper Sam Curran and Rahul Chahar picked up one wicket each as the Punjab bowling contingent wasn’t having much success with the ball in the 1st innings. Arshdeep too got himself 2 wickets in the end.
Venkatesh Iyer’s 22-ball 39* was complimented by skipper Shreyas Iyer’s 28 on the night as the game saw yet another 200+ total at the iconic Eden Gardens as Kolkata Knight Riders set a mammoth 262–run target for the Punjab Kings.
With the visitors already missing the likes of Shikhar Dhawan on their side, it will be no less than a challenging task for Men in Red to take home the 2 points.
