There has been significant speculation surrounding MS Dhoni’s future in the Indian Premier League, with many experts and fans suggesting that IPL 2024 could potentially mark the final season for the former Indian cricket team captain. Dhoni boasts an impressive record as one of the most successful skippers in the competition, having secured five titles, jointly holding the record with Rohit Sharma. Although Dhoni has not officially addressed his future plans, a substantial update regarding his playing career has been provided by his childhood friend, Paramjit Singh.

As per Paramjit Singh, he does not believe that this will be Dhoni’s last season. Singh stated that Dhoni is still fit and predicts that he will play for one or two more seasons, emphasizing Dhoni’s fitness as the reason for his continued presence in the game.

Recently, Dhoni was spotted practicing in the nets with a bat sporting a ‘Prime Sports’ sticker, which is owned by his childhood friend Paramjit. The image quickly went viral, with many people lauding their friendship.

Since announcing his retirement from international cricket in August 2020, Dhoni has remained active solely as a cricketer in the IPL. He captained the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their record-equalling fifth title last season, achieving victory over the Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final held in Ahmedabad.
