KKR Post 157/7 vs MI
Put to bat first, KKR openers Sunil Narine and Phil Salt got off to a bad start as both the duo got dismissed at a collective total of just 6 runs on the night. Sunil Narine, who was expected to have another great day at the office was shocked by a brilliant Jasprit Bumrah delivery which saw the West Indian batter got out on a golden duck.
It was Venkatesh Iyer who top-scored on the night with a well-made 21-ball 42 in front of their fans as the league leaders posted a competitive 157/7 in their 16 overs.
Piyush Chawla led the Mumbai bowling lineup with 2 wickets to his name as the 2nd innings promised to bring some fireworks on a day that was curtailed by rain at the start.
Kolkata needs a win to qualify for the playoffs while Mumbai Indians just want to finish off their campaign in style.
