Kohli then proceeded to achieve his 52nd half-century in the Indian Premier League, providing Bengaluru with a solid start against Kolkata at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kohli accomplished this feat after facing 36 deliveries in the eagerly awaited IPL encounter. This innings enabled Kohli to surpass Hyderabad’s dynamic wicketkeeper, Heinrich Klaasen, as the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024.
