Cricket enthusiasts in Bengaluru are overwhelmed with the wave of excitement as the English pacer Jofra Archer visits the city ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. However, the reason behind Archer’s presence in the city remains unknown but fans speculate that this is because of the upcoming tournament.
Previously, Jofra Archer was in the Mumbai Indians franchise. He visits the silicon valley of India.
As far as the his participation in the IPL is concerned, Archer is not going to participate in the upcoming 17 edition of tournament due to an ongoing recovery from an elbow injury. He is in Bengaluru as part of his county side Sussex’s pre-season training camp.
Lancashire men’s and women’s teams along with several others conducts their training sessions and practise matches in Bengaluru due to its warm weather.
On the other hand, Jofra Archer is in Bengaluru for training as his primary focus is playing the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

The 28-year-old fast bowler is currently being closely monitored by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as he diligently strives to regain full fitness. After undergoing surgery a year ago, Archer recently made his comeback to competitive cricket earlier this month, featuring in a second-division County Championship match.
