GT vs KKR: Match 63 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) saw rain play spoilsport as the Gujarat Titans and league leaders Kolkata Knight Riders shared the spoils at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 13.

Rain was a constant figure in Gujarat on the day as the two captains Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer didn’t even get to do the coin toss at the beginning of the encounter due to heavy rains.

While the drizzling reduced at one point and the super-soppers were doing their job, the intensity of the drizzling stepped up which put the hopes of a cricket match pretty low for the crowd.

While Kolkata Knight Riders have already booked their place in the IPL playoffs, Gujarat Titans wouldn’t be happy with just a point as it was a must-win game for last year’s finalists to keep their playoff hopes alive.

2-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders have had a superb campaign this year with their former skipper Gautam Gambhir back in the team with the side.
