Delhi Capitals’ upcoming match in IPL 2024 is against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. While Mumbai Indians have yet to secure a win in the three matches they’ve played in the tournament, Delhi Capitals have faced one victory and three losses in their four matches.

However, Delhi Capitals have been dealt a major blow ahead of this match as their star all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh, is sidelined due to injury. When asked about his fitness and availability for the match, Delhi Capitals’ cricket director Sourav Ganguly confirmed that Marsh is injured.
The 32-year-old versatile player sustained an injury before the highly anticipated match. However, the ex-Indian skipper didn’t reveal the nature or severity of Marsh’s injury, nor did he specify the expected duration of his recovery.
Marsh in IPL 2024
Marsh participated in all four matches for the Capitals this season, yet he failed to make a notable contribution in any of them. He gave away 52 runs without taking any wickets and managed to score 20 runs in their first match against Punjab Kings. Following that, he scored 23, 18, and a two-ball duck in the subsequent matches. He only claimed one wicket with the ball.
With Marsh sidelined, Delhi Capitals might consider including Jake Fraser-McGurk, who was brought in as a replacement for Lungi Ngidi.
