Match 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium saw Bengaluru’s talisman Virat Kohli reach a special century as he took the field for the Challengers on April 2. Winning the toss, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis chose to bowl first in what promises to be a high-octane clash between the two sides.

Virat’s Milestone

This match also marked a significant milestone for Virat Kohli, as he played his 100th T20 game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, making him the first Indian to achieve this feat.

Virat Kohli In IPL 2024 So Far

Kohli’s outstanding form in IPL 2024 is evident, leading the run-scoring charts with 181 runs in 3 matches, along with Riyan Parag. Although Kohli had a slow start against Chennai Super Kings, scoring 21 runs off 20 balls, he bounced back with impressive half-centuries against Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 77 and 83 runs respectively.

However, despite Kohli’s stellar performances, RCB suffered a defeat against the Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous match.
