Kohli’s outstanding form in IPL 2024 is evident, leading the run-scoring charts with 181 runs in 3 matches, along with Riyan Parag. Although Kohli had a slow start against Chennai Super Kings, scoring 21 runs off 20 balls, he bounced back with impressive half-centuries against Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 77 and 83 runs respectively.
However, despite Kohli’s stellar performances, RCB suffered a defeat against the Kolkata Knight Riders in their previous match.
Virat Kohli is currently tied with Rajasthan Royals batter Riyan Parag on 181 runs in the tournament. With Virat playing in front of his home crowd, the atmosphere will surely get electric once the King comes to bat in the 2nd innings and help his side get the much-needed win on the night.
