Being stretchered off the pitch just 4 days ago during Bangladesh’s 3rd ODI match against Sri Lanka, Mustafizur passed the fitness test and came back to bag a four-wicket haul in just 10 deliveries of his spell.

CSK Pace Attack To The Rescue

In what looked like a dominating display from RCB skipper Faf du Plessis in the first four overs of the game, Mustafizur came in and took the top 3 batters Du Plessis, Patidar, and Virat Kohli out of the game within 12 overs of play. He then went on to pick the wicket of Cameron Green as well who was expected to take RCB out of the quicksand on the night.

His performance was supported by some incredible fielding display by the defending champions, featuring debutant Rachin Ravindra as well. Deepak Chahar also contributed with one wicket till the 15th over, sending lethal Glenn Maxwell back to the pavilion on a duck.
