New Delhi: Batting first Rajasthan Royals (RR) posted the formidable target of 204 for the host Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, April 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

With Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson bagged half-centuries respectively. Jaiswal smacked 54 tuns off 37 balls, with Buttler slammed 54 off 22 deliveries. Meanwhile, Samson clattered 55 off 32 deliveries. Fazalhaq Farooqi and T Natarajan were in good bowling form and bagged two wickets each for SRH.

Jos Buttler quick-fire fifty
England’s hard hitting batter Jos Buttler showed no mercy to the Bhuvneshwar Kumar-led bowling attack as he registered quick-fire fifty. Buttler played 54 runs knock off 22 bowls, he dealt only in sixes and fours. The 32-year-old batter reached his half-century at the strike rate of 245.45.
Sanju Samson’s innings
Captain Sanju Samson on the other side hold his ground and he ramped to hit over Glenn Phillips’ head behind for a boundary. A pugnacious touch on the backfoot followed for successive fours in the over of Umran Malik.
After that, Samson pushed the length delivery to the covers for a single. That brought up the 18th IPL fifty for the Rajasthan Royals skipper.
