New Delhi: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, acting skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday, April 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Skipper thoughts
“We will bowl first, looks like a good batting wicket. Will take advantage with the chase. I’ll try my and do the best for the team. Farooqi, Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, Glenn Phillips are our four foreigners,” Bhuvneshwar Kumar, SRH, stand-in captain said after winning the toss.
“This is a new IPL with new rules. We have to respect the opponents and play to our strengths. Always feel good to wear this jersey, locking forward to playing in Jaipur. (On Sangakkara) We have a good relationship with each other. Discuss things regularly before games,” Sanju Samson, RR skipper said.

Hyderabad captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar named their four overseas player, they are Fazalhaq Farooqui, debutant Harry Brook, Adil Rashid and Glenn Phillips.
Meanwhile, RR also announced their four overseas players, Jos Buttler, Jason Holder, Trent Boult and Shimron Hetmyer.
