New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Shubman Gill took easy single as he completed his half-century against Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He reached his fifty in with the help of five fours and two sixes so far.

Shubman scores brilliant fifty

With the help of Shubman Gill’s knock GT kept their ship steady in the chase of 179-runs in the tournament curtain-raiser as the host lost 2 wickets early in the chase.

Jadeja removes skipper Pandya

Ravindra Jadeja has cleaned up Hardik Pandya. The GT skipper tried to play a sweep shot but picked the wrong length and line. If was pitched outside off on a good length from Jadeja. The ball travelled the distance quickly and rattled the stumps.

Hangargekar sends back Saha

Earlier in the game, GT lost their first wicket as Wriddhiman Saha miss hits the shot off Rajvardhan Hangargekar. Shivam Dube took a really good catch near the third man fence to cut short Saha’s knock.
