Shami dismisses Conway

Shami came round the wicket, with that famous seam presentation of his, Mohammed Shami angled one in and uprooted Devon Conway’s off and middle stump. What a delivery! First wicket for Gujarat. A brilliant second over from Shami, just the one run came off that over and a wicket.

Good start from Ruturaj
For CSK Ruturaj Gaikwad stared steady innings and then geared up in the second over against GT’s captain Pandya. Hardik Pandya introduced himself from the other end. And well, that’s not a pleasant welcome from Ruturaj Gaikwad. A back of a length delivery, angled into the middle stump, flicked towards the deep mid wicket for a four. Another similar delivery later in the over, a sensational cover drive for another boundary.
Earlier in the game, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya won the toss against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
