Ambati Rayudu smashed a boundary to sealed the deal for CSK with 11 balls to spare. It could have come even earlier. Especially after that Ajinkya Rahane’s onslaught. What an innings that was! What a win this is! Pure domination from CSK in what seemed to be not really an ‘El Clasico’ tempered contest. Two wins in three games for CSK. Two defeats off two games for MI.

Ajinkya Rahane registered fastest half-century of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against the Mumbai Indians (MI). He scored 61 runs off 27 balls at the strike rate of 111.11 as he smashed bowler all over the park.

He smacked Arshad Khan for 23 runs in an over. Captain Rohit Sharma sighed, shrugged, shut his eyes, and slumped his shoulder after Ajinkya Rahane looted 23 runs.
CSK’s spinners performance
Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja returned to the figure of 3/20 from his full quota of four overs as he led CSK bowling attack. The left-arm spin bowler Mitchell Santner picked up 2/28. Tushar Deshpande bagged two dismissals each.
