New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) achieved another milestone as he completed his 5,000 Indian Premier League (IPL) runs on Monday, April 3 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Dhoni’s innings
Dhoni lighted up Chepauk Stadium with his two gigantic six to reached this milestone. MS Dhoni-intoxicated Chepauk crowd, as he smoked 2 big sixes into the stands. The first was fast and furious and Dhoni went for the big slash and it flew over third man for a six. In the dug out, his team-mates jumped for joy.
The crowd were never sitting on their seats, anyway. The next shot was the real crowd-screamer. It was a pacy bouncer but boy did Dhoni wallop it over midwicket into the stands.
