New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) right-arm off break bowler Moeen Ali smacked back at Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as he scalped four wickets on Monday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Mayers fall after quick fifty
KL Rahul-led LSG were on solid all thanks to the Kyle Mayers’ 21 balls half-century as he led the Super Giants batting attack in power play. But just completing his fifty Moeen removed his wicket and CSK were back in game.

Moeen got the big wicket. Mayers swept it and fond deep mid wicket. The Chepauk crowd finds its voice again.
Rahul with a slogged swept toward wide mid wicket. Gaikwad took a few steps to his left and took this a few yards inside the ropes. Moeen had removed both the openers.
Fullish on off from Moeen for the last ball of the 10th, Krunal lofted a cross-batted shot and picked out Jadeja at the ropes.
Stoinis cleaned up by Moeen,who had now picked up his fourth. What a hand the all-rounder had played today with the bat and now with ball.
