IPL 2023 Mini Auction: The stage has been set for the mini auction of the 16th season of IPL, the world’s most famous cricket league, and the BCCI has now released the names of the players who will go on it. The auction for IPL 2023 will be held on 23 December 2022 in Kochi.
A total of 991 players have registered for this, from which the BCCI has shortlisted 405 players. The BCCI’s first list had 369 players, with 36 additional players added on the request of the franchises.

273 Indian players included
Out of these 405 players, 273 are Indian and 132 are foreign players, out of which 4 players are from associate countries. Total capped players are 119 and uncapped players are 282. 4 players are from associate countries. Now a maximum of 87 slots are available out of which 30 are vacant for overseas players.
Let us tell you that Rs 2 crores is the highest reserve price, in which 19 foreign players are to be placed in the highest bracket. 11 players are in the auction list with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore.

According to the information, 6 batsmen have been included in the first set of auction. This includes Mayank Agarwal of India, Joe Root and Harry Brook of England. Apart from these, the names of Ajinkya Rahane, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and Rilee Russo are also included.
