New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) reached the formidable target of 212/2 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, April 10. RCB got the explosive star as Virat Kohli (61), skipper Du Plessis (79*) and Maxwell (59) smashed fifties.

Virat- Du Plessis’ partnership
Earlier, Kohli and Du Plessis gave RCB a solid platform as the pair added 96 for the opening wicket. Amit Mishra broke the partnership by removing Virat Kohli for 61(44) in the 12th over.
Maxwell joins skipper
Maxwell then joined his captain and added 115-run in just 50 balls for the second wicket. Maxwell was picked up by Mark Wood for 59(29) in the final over, while Du Plessis returned unbeaten on 79(46).
Du Plessis slams 50
Faf du Plessis smacked Mark Wood for a SIX as he brought up his half-century. The RCB skipper took 35 balls and reached the milestone, just like Kohli earlier in the innings.

Maxwell hits 50, RCB cross 200
Avesh Khan came to bowl the 19th over and Maxwell smashed him for consecutive sixes in the first two balls. With that he brought his half-century, took him just 24 balls to reach there.
The pair also stitched up 100-run partnership for second wicket in just 44 balls.
Kohli’s fifty
Virat Kohli completed his half-century in just 35 balls. He reached this milestone with the help of 4 fours and same number of sixes.
