New Delhi: Tushar Deshpande gave Chennai Super Kings (CSK) their first breakthrough as he removed Yashasvi Jaiswal for 10 runs. After MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday, April 12 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Tushar Deshpande struck in his first over as Yashasvi Jaiswal departed for 10(8). Banged it short and Jaiswal mistimed it as the ball went up in the air. Shivam Dube settled under it and caught it comfortably.
After that Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler stitched together the partnership of 77-run for the second wicket before Jadeja removed both Padikkal and Sanju Samson in the same over.

Jadeja strikes
Jadeja came to bowl his second over and he broke the 77(40) stand between Padikkal and Buttler. Padikkal tried to clear the fence but found Devon Conway at backward square leg, who took a simple catch.
Jadeja removed Sanju Samson for a duck. The Rajasthan skipper failed to read the line and missed it completely as the ball knocked the stumps.
Ashwin walked in to bat and Moeen Ali dropped him at slips on the first ball. Easy opportunity but Ali once again reacted slightly late.
