New Delhi: The 16th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick off from March 31, Friday. With the reigning champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will lock horns with four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

IPL returning to normalcy this year

This year’s IPL promises to be more interesting and bit different from the last few years edition. With the returns of home and away edition there are news rules added in the league, that will grab the viewers sight.

Broadcasting rights 

This year the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) introduced the some new rules such as the Impact Player and the availability of DRS for wides and no-balls. This with new rules, IPL also got their new broadcasters, Disney+ Hotstar will no longer telecast. This year Viacom18 sealed the official broadcasting right of the IPL for the coming five seasons.

Jio Cinema to stream all matches for free

Jio Cinema is the app to go to. Be it on TV or any electronic device such as PC, iPad, iPhones, viewers can have access to all the matches of IPL 2023 there absolutely free. Unlike Hotstar, which required an annual subscription amount.

Jio Cinema will live stream the matches without requiring you to buy any hefty subscription. Jio Cinema did the same during the FIFA World Cup and broke the record viewership, and the coming months they will be looking to do the same.

Jio Cinema promised ample benefits of watching IPL on the online streaming platform. IPL 2023 will stream in 4K resolution for free. Besides, it will also allow users to switch between various camera angles for all the 74 matches during the season. While following the IPL on phone, users will also be able to display features such as score and pitch heat map.

How to watch on TV

Viewers can watch the IPL in every Indian languages apart from Hindi and English. On TV, star sports will telecast the matches.
