New Delhi: Harry Brook, who is going to make his debut for SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, seems to be in great touch with the bat. Brook is enjoying his practice session with his new team ahead of the cash-rich tournament.

The 24-year-old English batter recently smacked the ball out of the park in an open net in the practice session. The Orange Army have started their net practice session ahead of the IPL. SRH new signing, Harry Brook is enjoying his day out in net session.

SunRisers Hyderabad shared the video clip of Harry Brook’s hits on Twitter and captioned the video as, “Hammerryng.”

Harry Brook’s performance

Harry Brook was the one of the SRH signed in this year auction. He was brought for Rs 13.25 crore. After making his debut against South Africa in September 2022, Brook travelled to Pakistan and New Zealand with Ben Stokes’ team, where he peeled off consecutive scores of 153, 87, 9, 111, 89, 54, and 186 to take his overall tally to 809 runs in nine innings, at an extraordinary strike-rate of 98.77.

Brook was also a T20 World Cup winner, after featuring in England’s triumph in Australia earlier in the winter.

“It’s the best franchise competition in the world. Everyone wants to play in it. There are a lot of good players there, and hopefully I get some opportunities to express how I’m playing at the minute – and show the world I’m capable of scoring runs anywhere,” said Harry Brook.

In search of 2nd IPL trophy

Hyderabad won their maiden IPL title in 2016 under the leadership of David Warner. They qualified for the playoffs in every season from 2017 to 2020, but the Orange Army have so far failed to lift another trophy.
