New Delhi: Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 16th match of Indian Premier Leaguer (IPL) 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Both the teams are winless till now in the tournament and will be aiming to open their account in today’s contest.

DC’s performance till now

David Warner-led DC have played three games in the tournament soo far, but lost all the three matches. Delhi lost the first match by 50-run margin against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and it followed by 6-wicket lost to Gujarat Tiatns. In the last played match, Capitals suffered the 57-run defeat from the hands of Rajasthan Royals (RR).

MI’s performance till now

On the other side, Rohit Sharma-led five-time champions Mumbai Indians started their tournament on a disappointing note as they suffered 8-wicket lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Then they faced their arch-rival Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium, MI here also suffered 7-wicket defeat.

DC vs MI: Head-to-head records

In head-to-head record between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians in the previous seasons, the teams have played against each other for a total of 32 matches. While Mumbai won in 17 of those matches, DC won the remaining 15 matches. The first match was played in 2008 where DC defeated Mumbai by five wickets, while the last match between the two was played last year where Rohit Sharma and team led MI towards a win.
