New Delhi:Chennai Super Kings (CSK) posted 226/6 on board against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) courtesy of Devon Conway (83) and Shivam Dube (52) as CSK posted their highest ever total at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, April 17.

The New Zealand’s opener notched up his second consecutive half-century of the season, though his 45-ball 83 against the Royal Challengers. Conway masterfully found the gaps and helped CSK to recover from a scratchy start after being invited to bat by Bangalore on a batting-friendly Chinnaswamy wicket, forging valuable partnerships with Ajinkya Rahane (37) and Shivam Dube (52) worth 74 and 80 runs respectively, laying the foundation for a sizeable first innings score for the four-time champions.

Shivam Dube’s blitz
CSK’s Shivam Dube was in destructive mode as he scored 52 runs off 27 balls. Dube scored his first fifty of the season in just 25 balls. Dube’s knock came at a breathtaking strike rate of 192.59.
In total, the middle-order batter smashed 2 fours and 5 sixes, including three maximums, the first was a 101m six, followed by a 102m six, and later he came up with the third monstrous hit which cleared a distance of 111m.
