New Delhi: After winning the toss Sanju Samson invited Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to bat first. Batting first LSG got the slow start from their opener duo of skipper KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers. But after power play Rahul-Mayers changed their gear and struck RR bowlers.

Mayers' fifty

Kyle Mayers went on smashing fifty after skipper KL Rahul departed after scoring 39 runs. Sanju then gave 14th over of the first innings to Ravichandran Ashwin. He took two wickets in the over. Ashwin first removed Deepak Hooda, then he hunted Kyle Meyers.

Kyle Meyers got out after scoring 51 runs in 42 balls. The ball on which he was clean bowled, caught it and came in at a high speed and uprooted the stumps. The soutpaw went berserk on the ball.
