Birmingham: Team India thrashes Pakistan by 8 wickets in the Group Stage match of Commonwealth Games 2022. The Women in Blue chased 100-run target and Smriti Mandhana made 63 alone.

India successfully chased the target within in just 12 overs and required only 4 of their batters.

Earlier, Pakistan choose to bat after winning the toss but could make a big score against their arch rivals but could not score a big total.

India women bowlers restricted Pakistan at 99 runs after the game reduced to 18 overs. Radha Yadav clinched 2 wickets on last two balls and contributed in the dismissal of Tuba Hassan in same over. Muneeba Ali became the highest scorer for Pakistan with 32 runs.
