Last year, Priyank Panchal, the former captain of Team Gujarat, announced his engagement to Kalna Shukla, a sports psychologist based in Ahmedabad. Reflecting on their love, Priyank expressed delight at commencing this new chapter together, emphasizing the support and happiness of both families.
Priyank highlighted Kalna’s meticulousness towards her work, particularly praising her role as a sports psychologist in today’s competitive environment. He emphasized the importance of mental training akin to physical fitness, noting Kalna’s significant assistance in his journey.
Reports suggest that Priyank and Kalna’s wedding spanned two days, featuring ceremonies on March 28th including the wedding and reception. Although selected for the international team, India has not yet given Priyank his debut in any format.
In cricket, Priyank boasts impressive statistics with 8423 runs in first-class cricket across 120 matches, maintaining an average of 45.52. His tally includes 27 centuries and 33 half-centuries, marking him as one of the select few with a triple century to his name.
