Dubai: After put to bat first, India has put 173 runs on board against Sri Lanka in the most significant fixture of the tournament for Men in Blue. India captain Rohit Sharma played a brilliant 41-balls 72 runs knock to power side and increased the total significantly.
Virat Kohli dismissed for ZERO
Former India captain Virat Kohli was dismissed for zero runs against Sri Lanka when he was attacked continuously by Dilshan Madushanka in the third over. This is a death game for the side and losing it would mean the way to exit door of the tournament. Team India would definitely not want that as they eye on the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Suryakumar Yadav – second highest scorer
India batter Suryakumar Yadav became the second highest scorer for his side and garnered 34 runs. Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant both got 17 runs each. The team set 174 runs as the target for Sri Lanka.
