IND vs PAK: Things got heated during the India A vs Pakistan A clash at the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 in Doha on November 16th. Right from the toss, you could tell it was going to be a tense one—Pakistan won and immediately put India A into bat, cranking up the pressure from the first ball.
India’s innings was a bit of a rollercoaster. Vaibhav Suryavanshi lit things up with a gutsy 45 off just 28 balls, hammering 5 fours and 3 sixes. Naman Dhir kept the scoreboard ticking with a sharp 35 from 20, but after that, things just fizzled out. Jitesh Sharma, Nehal Wadhera, and Ashutosh Sharma barely made a dent India folded for 136 in 19 overs.
The biggest flashpoint came in the 9th over. Saad Masood got Naman Dhir out for 35 and then let his emotions spill over, gesturing and exchanging words with Dhir as he walked off. That moment blew up on social media, as you’d expect with so much on the line. Credit to Dhir, though, he kept his cool and just walked back without making a scene.

Pakistan’s bowlers owned the day. Shahid Aziz led the charge, picking up 3 for 24 in his three overs. Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat grabbed two wickets each, making sure India never got going.
Now, Pakistan have a straightforward chase 137 runs to win. But with the crowd buzzing after that fiery exchange, everyone’s watching to see if the tension on the field carries over, or if Pakistan can finish things off calmly. The stakes feel even higher now.
