Shubman Gill took an unbelievable catch in the 29th over during the 2nd ODI at Cuttack when Harshit Rana bowled to Harry Brook. On the 4th ball of the over Harry Brook lifted the ball up in the air but could not find the distance. Shubman Gill took a stunning catch while running forward with both his hands away from the ball.

Rana bowled a slow ball and Harry Brook took the bait. He saw Harry Brook advancing and manipulated the speed of the delivery at the last minute. The ball bounced extra as Harshit Ranaβs ability to generate bounce was seen. Brook went on to the ball down the ground and Gill had to run back from mid off, look over his right shoulder, Keep his eyes on the ball, dive full length and time it to perfection, stretching both the hands out with this Brook was sent back to the pavilion on 31 runs in 52 balls.
Shubman Gill has always been very promising in the field. He was also awarded Man of the Match award for his 87 runs contribution in the 1st ODI against England In Nagpur. Expectations from Shubman Gill has always been high especially in the subcontinent. This 3 match ODI series will turn out to be a pretty good warm up for Champions Trophy ahead in February itself.
