The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) released the schedule for India’s Test series in England, set to take place from June to August 2025. The two boards announced on Thursday that the five-match India vs England Test series will be a key part of the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
The series will start with the first Test at Headingley in Leeds. Subsequent Tests will be played at Edgbaston, Lord’s, Old Trafford, and The Oval.
The five-match Test series against England will also kick off India’s campaign for the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

This will be India’s first bilateral Test series in England since the 2021-22 season. The Indian team under Jasprit Bumrah’s leadership led 2-1 before the final Test was rescheduled, with England ultimately drawing the series 2-2.
Talking to journalists, ECB’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said, “India touring is always a big draw and a highlight of any cricket summer. The last Men’s Test series here was a nail-biter and I’m sure next year’s clash will be just as exciting, while our women’s series are always fiercely competitive.” He said further, “I’m delighted we’ll also be welcoming both West Indies teams back again for white ball series, following this year’s Men’s Test series.”
India established its dominance over the last Test series that was played with England as they won by 4-1.
