Pitch Type Of Rajkot?
As for the on-field conditions, Rajkot is likely to provide a batting-friendly pitch. The Niranjan Shah Stadium hosted a high-scoring encounter in 2023, which was also the most recent T20I at the venue. India, led by a century from Suryakumar Yadav, posted a total of 228/5 in their 20 overs.
The pitch offered support for both spin and pace, as India bowled Sri Lanka out for 137 in just 16.5 overs, with Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya taking five wickets between them.
