English star batter Joe Root created another record of most 50+ scores for England in ODIs. In the record, he surpassed England’s former captain Eoin Morgan, Morgan and Root were balanced at both 55 50+ scores in ODI, but in today’s innings, Joe Root breached that milestone and found his place on the top spot at the podium with 56 innings with 50+ scores.

Root in India Vs England
Joe Root seemed promising while he played an innings of 69 runs in 72 balls, which included 6 4s and a strike rate of 95.83. His innings finally came to an end when Ravindra Jadeja bowled a full length delivery and Root tried to chip it to the boundary but did not find the distance. He was caught at long off where Virat Kohli took a simple catch. With the fall of his wicket, England’s hopes for a huge total shattered. Although during the 1st ODI at Nagpur Root was unsuccessful in creating an impact as he got dismissed at just 19 runs.
