Indian cricket team is set to kick-start their much-awaited home season with a two-test match series versus Bangladesh, commencing September 19 at the venerable MA Chidambaram Stadium of Chennai. However, the AccuWeather predictions are not boding so well as passing showers may compromise the very first day of play.

Star Indian Players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah will also return back in action. The weather forecast shows a temperature of 34°C on Day 1. The probability of thunderstorms is at 8%, and precipitation occurs with a probability in the range of 41%. It will be cloudy all through the morning with around 60% cloud cover.

This weather forecast is going to bring uncertainty to the much-awaited Test match against Bangladesh. There are also chances of disruptions on the subsequent days. At least a 40% chance of thunderstorms is there on September 20, with the temperature at 34°C.

Clear Weather Expected After Day 2

The September 21st is also expected to be mostly clouded with warm temperatures. Their temperature will be 36°C and 25% less chance of rain. It will probably become better during the entire time course of the match. For the September 22nd, there is an expected day of clear skies, and it’s going to be warm at 34°C with only a minimum amount of 13% chance of rain.

The last day of the game, that is, September 23 is also clear with the temperature lowered to 33°C. There are rain chances of merely 21%.

And the largest loss ever registered by India was back in 1949 when they lost to West Indies by an innings and 193 runs.
